Good News Story: Sublime Care Celebrates International Day of People with Disability

IDPWD Celebration

November 5, 2022- We celebrated the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) and official launch of our new office at Wallsend. It was a wonderful turnout for Sublime Care with our humble event, with over 30 people making time and coming out to join us.

It was inspiring to be around so many people with a shared vision of supporting Australia’s disability community by providing them better support access and participation through our services. We are very thankful to all the fantastic people who have joined us on this day who have shared a conversation with us- sharing their experiences, ideas, and visions.

Starting a conversation about disability is one step towards encouraging the world to change the way they think about People with Disability, and we are very thankful to one of our Participants and Support Workers, who shared their personal experiences and future goals with us.

IDPwD is an opportunity for us to have conversations, break down barriers and promote the representation and inclusion of people with disability in all aspects of community life. May we always remember this goal and continuously spread out the word and support the people with disability for a accessible and equitable future world to live in.
