On Sunday 24 May 2026, Newcastle Foreshore Park came alive with colour, laughter, and community spirit. Sublime Care, alongside co-host Therapeutic Supports, proudly presented the very first Colour for a Cause fun run — a vibrant, inclusive event raising vital funds for Wheeling & Able, a charity dedicated to helping children with disability move, play, and thrive.
It was a day none of us will forget.
What is Colour for a Cause?
Colour for a Cause is a community fun run where participants are showered in bright coloured powder as they make their way through the course. More than just a race, it is a celebration of inclusion, connection, and giving back.
Every ticket purchased, every dollar donated, and every step taken on the day went directly towards supporting Wheeling & Able and the vital programs they deliver for children with disability across Australia.
The Day in Review
Newcastle Foreshore Park provided the perfect backdrop for the event. Participants of all ages and abilities came together to run, walk, wheel, and skip through colour stations, cheered on by volunteers, families, and supporters lining the course.
The atmosphere was electric. From the moment the first wave of colour exploded at the start line, it was clear this was something truly special. Smiling faces covered in every colour of the rainbow, children laughing, families connecting, and a community coming together for a cause that truly matters.
