Elle Bowen| Allied Health Team Leader –  Speech Pathologist

Elle Bowen is the Allied Health Team Leader and Speech Pathologist at Sublime Care. In her role, Elle works closely with the team to build a high-quality Allied Health service that supports people of all ages. She is dedicated to providing individual speech pathology support to those facing various communication challenges.

 

With nearly 14 years of experience as a speech pathologist and 7 years in leadership roles, Elle brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work. Throughout her career, she has focused on helping children and young people with disabilities achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

 

Outside of work, Elle enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her family, and spoiling her dog.

Grace King |  Speech Pathologist

Grace is a passionate Speech Pathologist at Sublime Care, dedicated to supporting children and young adults in overcoming challenges with communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Her role involves conducting detailed assessments, creating individualised therapy plans, and collaborating closely with families and other professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

 

Grace holds an Honours Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Newcastle, where her clinical placements allowed her to gain valuable experience in areas like speech and language development, autism spectrum disorder, and social communication. She is especially passionate about stuttering and addressing feeding and swallowing difficulties.

 

Outside of work, Grace enjoys surfing, running, and long beach walks to unwind. She’s also an avid reader, with a love for John Green novels, and enjoys experimenting with new baking recipes.

Tobin Bush | Senior Occupational Therapist

Tobin Bush is a Senior Occupational Therapist at Sublime Care, committed to helping clients live safely, independently, and meaningfully in their daily lives. He specialises in detailed assessments, functional capacity evaluations, falls prevention, assistive equipment, and home modifications—empowering clients to make informed decisions about their care.

With over 9 years of experience in Occupational Therapy, including 6 as a senior clinician, Tobin has worked across occupational rehab, aged care, community care, and the health insurance sector. He holds an Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Newcastle and has completed extensive training in cognitive assessment, complex seating, dementia care, and more.

Outside of work, Tobin enjoys time with his wife and three young sons, cooking, collecting model cars, playing sports, and relaxing on the family farm.

Saki Hidaka | Occupational Therapist

Saki is our Occupational Therapist, dedicated to helping individuals enhance their independence and quality of life. She conducts assessments, therapy sessions, and recommends assistive devices or home modifications to support clients in achieving their goals. Her approach is tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring they receive the best possible support.

 

Originally from Japan, Saki has over six years of experience in a rehabilitation hospital and community OT work. She has completed the Bobath Concept course, specialising in neurological conditions. Saki’s passion for occupational therapy was inspired by her love for helping elderly individuals, which started from spending cherished time with her grandparents.

 

Outside of work, Saki enjoys yoga, beach walks, and spending time with her partner

 

Laura Bodycote | Occupational Therapist

Laura is a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting participants through the CHSP scheme and the NDIS. Her role focuses on enhancing independence and safety by assessing functional capacity, recommending home modifications, providing assistive technology, and implementing falls prevention and cognitive support strategies. She is passionate about helping people live more independently and improving their overall quality of life.

 

Before becoming an OT, Laura worked as an occupational therapy assistant and support worker in the disability sector for two years. Her experience supporting adolescents and participants with dementia deepened her passion for promoting routines, independence, and well-being.

 

Outside of work, Laura enjoys staying active, going to the gym, playing tennis, and spending time at the beach. She also loves sci-fi books, podcasts, and exploring different music genres.

Bronagh Hever | Occupational Therapist

Bronagh is our Occupational Therapist  who works with our CHSP participants. In her role, she supports older adults to live safely and independently in their own homes. Bronagh is deeply passionate about the positive impact that Occupational Therapy can have—whether it’s through small changes in daily routines or simple modifications to the home environment—to help older individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.

 

Bronagh earned her qualification in Occupational Therapy in 2020 from Trinity College, Dublin. She spent nearly three years practicing in Ireland before relocating to Australia. Since then, her experience has spanned the NDIS sector, acute hospital care on a geriatric ward, and now, the community-based CHSP setting. Her ongoing dedication to supporting older adults is at the heart of her work.

 

Outside of work, Bronagh enjoys keeping active—especially through swimming and running—as part of her balanced lifestyle.

Clayton Daw | Occupational Therapist

Working with CHSP clients across South Western Sydney, Clayton supports older adults to live safely and independently at home. He focuses on functional assessments, assistive technology, and home modifications—always tailoring his approach to help clients achieve their individual goals and maintain their quality of life

After a successful career in architecture, Clayton transitioned to occupational therapy, earning his Master of Occupational Therapy in 2020. His background brings a unique skill set to the role, particularly in home modifications. Since entering the industry, he has worked primarily in the NDIS space, with extensive experience in mobility, functional capacity, and daily living support.

Clayton is passionate about helping people age in place and maintain their independence, which led him to join Sublime Care. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through exercise and weekend soccer, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his two kids, dog, and a busy home life.

Aimee Maza | Occupational Therapist

Aimee Mazo supports CHSP participants with the goal of helping older adults live safely and independently at home. Her role includes conducting functional assessments, prescribing assistive technology, implementing falls prevention strategies, reviewing cognitive approaches, and exploring upper limb therapy in neurorehabilitation.

 

She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science), both from the University of Sydney. Aimee has over five years of experience in aged care, with additional roles in occupational rehab and the NDIS sector. Her background includes clinical case management and ACAT assessments through the Transition Aged Care Program.

 

Motivated by her close relationship with her grandparents, Aimee is passionate about supporting joyful, independent ageing. Outside of work, she enjoys social basketball, art galleries, live music, and travelling—particularly her adventures in Japan and the Canadian Rockies.

Sinead de Bhailis | Occupational Therapist

Sinead is an experienced Occupational Therapist supporting aged care clients under the CHSP in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Originally from Ireland, Sinead is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence, safety, and quality of life through personalised, community-based support.

 

She qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Galway in 2018 and spent five years working in the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE), delivering services to adults aged 18 to 100+. Her experience spans neurological conditions, frailty, and other acquired disabilities, with a strong foundation in manual handling, equipment prescription, and home assessments. Since relocating to Australia, Sinead has continued to focus on aged care—an area she finds deeply rewarding.

Fluent in both Irish and English, Sinead enjoys swimming, reading, walking, and discovering new places through travel in her spare time.

Lynda Rennie | Occupational Therapist

Lynda is a dedicated Occupational Therapist working with our CHSP Clients to ensure they remain independent, doing what is important to them and in their own homes for as long as possible. She particularly loves working with older adults. Her focus is holistic, client-centred care, supporting her clients to thrive through functional capacity assessments, home modifications,  assistive technology prescription and gaining understanding of what is important to them.

 

Holding a degree in Occupational Therapy from Newcastle University, over the last 14 years Lynda has worked in the hospital system in rehabilitation, the aged care sector and most recently as a Clinical Case Manager for Short Term Restorative Care Clients. She also holds a diploma in Art Therapy and has volunteered as a phone councillor with Lifeline.

 

Outside of work Lynda loves to spend time with her Daughter, family and friends cooking, sharing meals, conversation and fun, partaking in art and theatre, reading (especially the mystery, crime and thriller genre), walking, being harassed by her dog Roxanne the Rat and planning life’s next adventure.

Tom Parkinson | Senior Physiotherapist

Tom is our Senior Physiotherapist at Sublime Care, providing support to our participants under the CHSP and NDIS programs. With over a decade of experience in hospital settings and aged care, Tom has also completed further study in gerontology, focusing on supporting older adults.

 

Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2012, Tom is passionate about providing person-centred care to participants achieve their goals. His areas of focus include mobility support, falls prevention, muscle strengthening, endurance, post-operative recovery, pain management, and care for neurological conditions such as Stroke and Parkinson’s disease.

 

In his free time, Tom enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and pursuing hobbies like chess, reading, soccer, and rock climbing.

Peter Garran |  Physiotherapist

Peter is an experienced Physiotherapist with 25 years in the disability sector, supporting people to maintain mobility and independence. He is passionate about helping individuals move better and believes that movement is the best medicine, especially for older adults.

 

With a wealth of experience, Peter enjoys the variety of people he works with and takes pride in tailoring physiotherapy to each person’s unique needs.

 

Outside of work, Peter enjoys running, good food, singing in a choir, and cheering on his kids at their sports games.

Kris Lam |  Physiotherapist

Kris Lam is a Physiotherapist at Sublime Care, dedicated to enhancing mobility, independence, and quality of life through person-centred care. She works closely with clients to set meaningful goals and deliver tailored treatment plans that support daily function and community participation.

 

With experience across private practice, aged care, and hospital settings, Kris has developed strong skills in fall prevention, pain management, and mobility training. Now in her third year of practice, she is passionate about the disability sector and the positive impact physiotherapy can make in people’s lives.

 

Outside of work, Kris enjoys indoor volleyball, water sports, hiking, and exploring new restaurants—always on the lookout for her next hobby.

ACCOMMODATION AND COMMUNITY CARE

Nic Riordan | Service Manager – Supported Home and Community Care

Nic is now set to embark on a new chapter as our dedicated Services Manager. In this role, she leads our Community and SIL teams, focusing on fostering an inclusive environment that empowers both staff and clients. Nic’s leadership style emphasises collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement, ensuring that our services are both effective and compassionate.

 

With over 20 years in the disability sector, Nic holds certifications in Frontline Management and Training and Assessment, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning.

 

When not at work, Nic enjoys upcycling old furniture. She also loves watching or reading a good horror, and Halloween is definitely her time to shine.

Allira Langbein | Team Leader

As a Team Leader for Sublime Care’s SIL houses, Allira supports participants in achieving their goals and living independently. Additionally, she provides support and training to staff. This helps them develop their skills to provide high-quality support to participants in achieving their industry-related goals.

 

Allira holds a Diploma in Community Services Case Management.

 

In her free time, Allira enjoys spending time with her family and friends, engaging in sports activities or camping.

Renee Hill | Team Leader

As a Community Care Team Leader, Renee plays a vital role in leading, coordinating, and providing support to our Community Care team, specifically for our Standard Care caseload. With her wealth of experience, Renee ensures the highest level of care for our clients.

Renee holds a Diploma in Nursing as an Enrolled Nurse and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing. Renee was also previously employed as a DSW at Sublime Care, where she garnered valuable expertise in supporting High Intensity Participants.

Renee is a major socialite, and when not at work, she enjoys going out and exploring new things that will challenge herself on various aspects of life.

Viv Hockridge | Roster Coordinator

Viv is our Roster Coordinator, supporting the Roster Supervisor to ensure participants are matched with the best possible support staff. She works closely with the team to maintain smooth service delivery and ensure our clients receive consistent, high-quality care.

Viv has over five years of industry experience and a diverse background in rostering across NDIS, out-of-home care (DCJ), cleaning services, and retail. She has extensive training in the SCHADS Award and is also a qualified Bookkeeper and Massage Therapist. This wide-ranging experience has equipped her with a versatile skill set, always centred on delivering consistent, people-focused support.

 

Outside of work, Viv finds joy in baking and cooking—especially when sharing the kitchen with her children. She values peaceful, mindful mornings spent meditating, lighting candles, and enjoying the quiet company of her two dogs, Eddie and George, and her cat, David.

Claire Snell | Roster Administrator

As our Roster Administrator, Claire ensures services are delivered smoothly and effectively to help participants maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.

Claire brings a diverse background, having worked across multiple industries and completed Certificate IV qualifications in Retail, Community Services, and Development. She’s excited to apply her skills and experience to support the community and is eager to grow further in the disability and aged care sector.

This is Claire’s first role in the industry, and she’s enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience and expanding her knowledge, including through new administration training. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Newcastle’s vibrant dining scene, and staying active with Pilates and fitness.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Leanne Clarke | Business Development Team Leader

Leanne is our dynamic Business Growth Coordinator. Her role involves generating leads, maintaining strong client relationships, and organising promotional activities. She’s also responsible in driving business expansion by analysing the market, reaching out to potential clients, and managing various administrative tasks.

 

With over 34 years of experience in the disability sector, Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to her role. Her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities drives her every day. She has pursued various certificates, diplomas, and specialised training to continuously advance her expertise and effectiveness in the field.

 

Outside of work, Leanne cherishes spending time with her family. She enjoys camping and swimming, which provide a refreshing balance to her professional life. Family is the cornerstone of her life, and she deeply values the time spent with them.

Ang Pooley| Intake Coordinator

Ang is Sublime Care’s dedicated Intake Coordinator, overseeing and supporting the onboarding process for new clients seeking Disability and Allied Health support services across Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, and Sydney. Ang ensures that each new client begins their journey with care and efficiency.

 

With a Diploma in Disabilities, certificates in Aged Care, Frontline Management, Rostering, and Customer Service, Ang brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her impressive 19 years of experience in the disability and aged care sector reflects her deep commitment to making a positive impact.

 

When she’s not at work, Ang loves spending time with her grandkids, relaxing with a great Netflix series, or enjoying live music at her local pub on the weekends. Her love for family and music keeps her grounded and energised.

Carrie Warren | Intake Officer

Carrie Warren  is our new Intake Officer at Sublime Care. In her role, Carrie helps ensure a smooth onboarding process for new participants.

 

Carrie is currently working toward her Certificate III in Business, building her skills and knowledge to excel in her role.

 

Having recently relocated from Canberra, Carrie is enjoying her new life near the beach. In her free time, she loves crocheting, playing video games, and soaking in the coastal lifestyle.

 

PEOPLE AND CULTURE

Katharine Worgan | People and Culture Advisor

Katharine manages all matters pertaining to employment relations, WHS, staff employment, training, and compliance. She also provides support, advice, guidance, and continuous improvement in all areas for the People and Culture team.

 

She has a Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Business and Diploma in Management.

 

While not working Katharine enjoys spending time with friends and family or enjoying the sights of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.

Joelene Koelman | People and Culture Team Leader

Joelene wears many hats at Sublime Care and is responsible for recruitment, compliance, continuous improvement, and improving staff culture. She loves the variety of her role gets satisfaction from bringing qualified workers into the organisation to support our Participants safely and professionally.

 

She has worked in the industry for over 15 years and has completed several Diplomas: Human Resources, Business Compliance, and Quality Auditing.

 

While not working Joelene is with her family, in the backyard, or enjoying afternoon naps. She does enjoy a good survivalist movie paired with a Pinot Noir.

Hannah Eangland | Recruitment Coordinator

As a Recruitment Coordinator, Hannah plays a key role in supporting Sublime Care’s strategic workforce growth. In collaboration with Workforce Development and the Allied Health Team Lead, she focuses on building a strong team. From sourcing and attracting top talent to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires, Hannah ensures a positive recruitment experience while meeting the evolving staffing needs of the business.

 

Hannah brings with her a broad range of experience from both small and large organisations, where she has held positions across business development, human resources, and process improvement. Her background includes work within the NDIS space, where she developed a passion for the diversity of both staff and participants in the disability sector.

 

Outside of work, Hannah is learning the art of salsa dancing and is known for mixing a killer margarita. On Sunday afternoons, you’ll often find her relaxing at home with her beloved cocker spaniel, Michael.

QUALITY AND CONTROL

Maddison Gardner | Operations Manager

Maddison is responsible for ensuring the organisation is compliant with standards, service quality indicators, and legislation. She oversees the operations of Quality Control, and the Support Coordination, Accommodation Services, and Community Care divisions, supporting managers to deliver quality care and ethical practice.

 

She has a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations. Currently, she is completing a Masters of Human Services and Disability.

 

While not working, Maddison enjoys exploring Newcastle and Lake Macquarie parks and beaches with her fur-children. She also tries to complete her home renovations when she has time.

Kodee Wagstaff | Quality Coordinator

Kodee is our dedicated Quality Coordinator, responsible for supporting Sublime Care in maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, service quality indicators, and other relevant legislation. In her role, Kodee will assist in monitoring quality, compliance, and risk data, implementing quality projects and initiatives, supporting the Clinical Educator team.

 

Kodee brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked in the disability sector for around 12 years. She started her career as a Disability Support Worker, motivated by her family’s experiences with disability. Her passion for disability support led her to various roles in the sector, allowing her to build on her skills and experiences.

 

Outside of work, Kodee enjoys spending time with her husband, toddler, and two fur-babies. Her weekends often include family outings for breakfast. She loves reading, especially fantasy series, and is an avid CrossFit enthusiast who trains almost every day and competes in local competitions.

Deshu Shrestha | Clinical Care Educator

As Sublime Care’s Clinical Care Educator, Deshu conducts training sessions, ensuring that our team stays on top of the latest clinical procedures and best practices. Her nursing background enriches her approach, fostering a holistic understanding of care. Passionate about her role, Deshu envisions success as a Clinical Care Educator, leveraging her unique blend of qualifications and practical experience.

 

With nearly four years of hands-on experience as a Disability Support Worker, and a degree of Bachelor of Nursing from the Australian Catholic University, Deshu is well-equipped to provide comprehensive training to our team.

 

Outside her professional work, Deshu finds joy in spending quality time with her family, indulging in her culinary interests, listening to music, embarking on coastal walks, and unwinding with a good movie.

Maddy Anderson | Clinical Care Educator

Maddy Anderson is our dedicated Clinical Care Educator, bringing a wealth of nursing experience and a passion for education to her role.  With a background in Cardiothoracic surgical and medical nursing and a Bachelor of Nursing degree, Maddy is well-equipped to provide exceptional training and support in high-intensity areas, including safe medication management. Her responsibilities include offering clinical advice to Team Leaders and Service Managers and collaborating with the Quality Coordinator on auditing and reports.

 

In addition to her nursing qualifications, Maddy is currently completing her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, further enhancing her skills in education and leadership. With six years of experience in nursing, Maddy is motivated by her passion for teaching others how to provide compassionate and competent care, promoting inclusivity and diversity in the process.

 

Outside of work, Maddy is a devoted mother of three, including a set of twins. Family time is paramount, and they enjoy swimming, biking, and holidaying together. They also cherish moments with their two dogs, Poppy and Beeni, and love baking cakes and cookies for family and friends.

 

Karen Simpson | Behaviour Support Practitioner

Karen is our Behaviour Support Practitioner at Sublime Care. She supports people with a disability by providing strategies and interventions that help them communicate their needs in a socially appropriate way, enhancing their overall quality of life.

 

Karen has over 10 years of experience in Behaviour Support and has worked in the NDIS space for the last five years. With a background in special and inclusive education, she has supported individuals in both mainstream and specialist environments, helping them build social skills, independence, and confidence. She holds a Master’s in Special and Inclusive Education, specialising in Emotional Disturbance and Behaviour Problems, and is a Proficient Level Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

 

Karen enjoys spending time with her four children, their partners, and her five grandchildren. She loves reading, watching dramas and romantic comedies, and spending time at the beach or in her garden.

Maria Braga | Behaviour Support Practitioner

Maria Braga is a Behaviour Support Practitioner who’s passionate about helping people with disabilities enhance their quality of life. She works closely with individuals to develop personalised, goal-focused strategies that support their daily living and overall wellbeing.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of Newcastle and recently transitioned into the disability sector. Her interest in this field was sparked during her two years in London, where she worked at a school supporting students with disabilities and mental health challenges—a formative experience that deepened her commitment to person-centred care.

Outside of work, Maria is an avid reader with a love for literary fiction. She enjoys crocheting, sketching, and creating art, and finds happiness in both quiet creativity and meaningful time with her family and friends.
