On 29th September 2024, Mel set off for her holiday adventure, excited and ready to explore. After her morning routine of a shower and medication, she hit the road with music playing and beautiful scenery passing by.
Our first stop was The Bega Cheese Factory, where Mel picked out some souvenirs. Then, we made our way to a very special place—the cemetery where her late father rests. Mel brought a small tiger statue and a bottle of beer as gifts. It was a heartwarming moment as she paid tribute to him, her smile showing just how much it meant to her.
Next, we traveled to Eden for a visit to the Whale Museum. After a day of exploration, we headed to the accommodation to relax and later enjoyed a delicious steak and chips dinner at the local club.
The next morning, on 30th of September, we started our journey back to Sydney, with a side trip to Canberra. Mel visited some key landmarks in the city, soaking in the sights and capturing memories. Along the way, we stopped to grab her favorite pastries, which she was excited to share with her neighbor once she got home.
