Nic’s leadership style emphasises collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement, ensuring that our services are both effective and compassionate.
With over 20 years in the disability sector, Nic holds certifications in Frontline Management and Training and Assessment, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning.
When not at work, Nic enjoys upcycling old furniture. She also loves watching or reading a good horror, and Halloween is definitely her time to shine.
As a Team Leader for Sublime Care’s SIL houses, Allira supports participants in achieving their goals and living independently. Additionally, she provides support and training to staff. This helps them develop their skills to provide high-quality support to participants in achieving their industry-related goals.
Allira holds a Diploma in Community Services Case Management.
In her free time, Allira enjoys spending time with her family and friends, engaging in sports activities or camping.
As a Community Care Team Leader, Renee plays a vital role in leading, coordinating, and providing support to our Community Care team, specifically for our Standard Care caseload. With her wealth of experience, Renee ensures the highest level of care for our clients.
Renee holds a Diploma in Nursing as an Enrolled Nurse and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing. Renee was also previously employed as a DSW at Sublime Care, where she garnered valuable expertise in supporting High Intensity Participants.
Renee is a major socialite, and when not at work, she enjoys going out and exploring new things that will challenge herself on various aspects of life.
Leanne is our dynamic Business Growth Coordinator. Her role involves generating leads, maintaining strong client relationships, and organising promotional activities. She’s also responsible in driving business expansion by analysing the market, reaching out to potential clients, and managing various administrative tasks.
With over 34 years of experience in the disability sector, Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to her role. Her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities drives her every day. She has pursued various certificates, diplomas, and specialised training to continuously advance her expertise and effectiveness in the field.
Outside of work, Leanne cherishes spending time with her family. She enjoys camping and swimming, which provide a refreshing balance to her professional life. Family is the cornerstone of her life, and she deeply values the time spent with them.
Katharine manages all matters pertaining to employment relations, WHS, staff employment, training, and compliance. She also provides support, advice, guidance, and continuous improvement in all areas for the People and Culture team.
She has a Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Business and Diploma in Management.
While not working Katharine enjoys spending time with friends and family or enjoying the sights of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
Joelene wears many hats at Sublime Care and is responsible for recruitment, compliance, continuous improvement, and improving staff culture. She loves the variety of her role gets satisfaction from bringing qualified workers into the organisation to support our Participants safely and professionally.
She has worked in the industry for over 15 years and has completed several Diplomas: Human Resources, Business Compliance, and Quality Auditing.
While not working Joelene is with her family, in the backyard, or enjoying afternoon naps. She does enjoy a good survivalist movie paired with a Pinot Noir.
Maddison is responsible for ensuring the organisation is compliant with standards, service quality indicators, and legislation. She oversees the operations of Quality Control, and the Support Coordination, Accommodation Services, and Community Care divisions, supporting managers to deliver quality care and ethical practice.
She has a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations. Currently, she is completing a Masters of Human Services and Disability.
While not working, Maddison enjoys exploring Newcastle and Lake Macquarie parks and beaches with her fur-children. She also tries to complete her home renovations when she has time.
Kodee is our dedicated Quality Coordinator, responsible for supporting Sublime Care in maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, service quality indicators, and other relevant legislation. In her role, Kodee will assist in monitoring quality, compliance, and risk data, implementing quality projects and initiatives, supporting the Clinical Educator team.
Kodee brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked in the disability sector for around 12 years. She started her career as a Disability Support Worker, motivated by her family’s experiences with disability. Her passion for disability support led her to various roles in the sector, allowing her to build on her skills and experiences.
Outside of work, Kodee enjoys spending time with her husband, toddler, and two fur-babies. Her weekends often include family outings for breakfast. She loves reading, especially fantasy series, and is an avid CrossFit enthusiast who trains almost every day and competes in local competitions.
As Sublime Care’s Clinical Care Educator, Deshu conducts training sessions, ensuring that our team stays on top of the latest clinical procedures and best practices. Her nursing background enriches her approach, fostering a holistic understanding of care. Passionate about her role, Deshu envisions success as a Clinical Care Educator, leveraging her unique blend of qualifications and practical experience.
With nearly four years of hands-on experience as a Disability Support Worker, and a degree of Bachelor of Nursing from the Australian Catholic University, Deshu is well-equipped to provide comprehensive training to our team.
Outside her professional work, Deshu finds joy in spending quality time with her family, indulging in her culinary interests, listening to music, embarking on coastal walks, and unwinding with a good movie.
Maddy Anderson is our dedicated Clinical Care Educator, bringing a wealth of nursing experience and a passion for education to her role. With a background in Cardiothoracic surgical and medical nursing and a Bachelor of Nursing degree, Maddy is well-equipped to provide exceptional training and support in high-intensity areas, including safe medication management. Her responsibilities include offering clinical advice to Team Leaders and Service Managers and collaborating with the Quality Coordinator on auditing and reports.
In addition to her nursing qualifications, Maddy is currently completing her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, further enhancing her skills in education and leadership. With six years of experience in nursing, Maddy is motivated by her passion for teaching others how to provide compassionate and competent care, promoting inclusivity and diversity in the process.
Outside of work, Maddy is a devoted mother of three, including a set of twins. Family time is paramount, and they enjoy swimming, biking, and holidaying together. They also cherish moments with their two dogs, Poppy and Beeni, and love baking cakes and cookies for family and friends.
As the team leader of our Support Coordination team, Mel’s role involves guiding our team in helping participants navigate the NDIS, ensuring they receive the necessary services to enhance their quality of life.
With a background in the Finance Industry and personal experience in her family, Mel made a meaningful shift to the disability sector in 2023. Inspired by her brother, who has Down Syndrome, she is passionate about empowering people by approaching challenges with a positive attitude, celebrating progress, and promoting growth.
Outside of work, Mel enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and exploring new places for good food and coffee.
Olivia Vollmer is our Support Coordinator at Sublime Care. She is dedicated to working closely with her clients, linking them to the best-fit supports and services for their individual needs. Olivia looks forward to helping participants navigate their NDIS plans with confidence and ease.
Olivia has been in the industry for just over a year, inspired by seeing Support Coordinators positively impact and empower their participants. This inspiring work motivated her to pursue this role and make a difference in the lives of those she supports.
Outside of work, Olivia cherishes spending time with her family and friends. She also loves snuggling with her two adorable dachshunds, Honey and Whiskey, who bring extra joy to her days.
Elle Bowen is the Allied Health Team Leader and Speech Pathologist at Sublime Care. In her role, Elle works closely with the team to build a high-quality Allied Health service that supports people of all ages. She is dedicated to providing individual speech pathology support to those facing various communication challenges.
With nearly 14 years of experience as a speech pathologist and 7 years in leadership roles, Elle brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work. Throughout her career, she has focused on helping children and young people with disabilities achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, Elle enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her family, and spoiling her dog.
